Dear Dragon Families,

Welcome back to a new and exciting year at Carolina Elementary School! This year is particularly special as we embark on our 75th anniversary celebration with the theme of "Celebrating Greatness." With this theme we will promote an environment that not only recognizes and celebrates achievements, but also motivates and inspires everyone to strive for their best. We are thrilled to have you join us in honoring our 75th year and are excited to invite you to help us embrace our goals for celebrating the greatness within our school community.

Goals for Celebrating Greatness:

1. Recognize Excellence: Throughout the year, we will highlight and celebrate the achievements and successes of individuals and teams within our school community. From academic accomplishments to personal triumphs, every success will be acknowledged and celebrated.

2. Inspire Ambition: We aim to encourage everyone—students, staff, and families—to strive for greatness in their pursuits. Setting high goals and working diligently to achieve them fosters growth and development, and we are here to support each step of the way.

3. Cultivate Pride: We will foster a sense of pride in our collective and individual accomplishments, big or small. Our school community has much to be proud of, and together, we will celebrate the unique contributions of each member.

Important Dates to Remember:

• Meet and Greet: July 30th from 3:30 PM-5:00 PM

• First Day of School: August 1, 2024

• Curriculum Night: August 13, 2024

• 75th Anniversary Celebration: October 3rd from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

We value open and transparent communication with our families. Please ensure that your contact information is up to date so that you receive important announcements and updates. Health and Safety:
The health and safety of our students and staff remain our top priority. We will continue to follow all recommended guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe learning environment. Parent Involvement:
We believe that a strong partnership between home and school is essential for student success. We encourage you to get involved in Carolina Elementary School Education Foundation (CESEF) and School Improvement Council (SIC).
