On Saturday August 14 and September 11, from 8am until noon, volunteers will gather to help construct a fitness trail around the baseball fields behind Carolina Elementary School.  The school has applied and received grants and sold cookbooks and cookie dough.  We thank you for your past support and are now asking for volunteers to help with manual labor.  We will also need volunteers to work the water station or "gopher" while the stronger backs are setting trail timbers.  The trail is a quarter-mile long with eight wildlife-themed activity stations.  Heavy equipment will prepare the site, volunteers will set the timbers, and a construction company will spread the trail surface.  Finally, volunteers will set the activity stations.  Many hands make for light work!
